Marketing
Grow 5
A marketing site to help a new start-up business cost-effectively establish itself as a new agency.
The client
A start-up which hopes to disrupt the traditional business services model with a more distributed, on-demand approach.
The brief
Work with the brand guidelines to create a marketing site which is not too copy heavy and drives users to the contact form.
The outcome
Although it’s early days for this site, the usage statistics already show exponential growth in traffic along with a healthy visit to lead conversion ratio.
What we did
For simpler sites like this, we chose to use Wordpress as the content management system. This then allows the client to make further (mostly) text-based changes themselves, as well as allowing us to focus on the content and design of the site instead of having to deal with technical issues first.
A starting point
As a new company, they had a brand identity developed which we used as the basis for the site’s look and feel. We then helped the client with the site’s content (both style and amount), before working again with the designer to fine tune the look.
Measuring success
As with most of the sites we make, we added in usage tracking via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, so the client could see which pages were popular, their engagement with each page and whether elements such as contact forms have been completed.
